Dutchboy is a producer, emcee, performer and community organizer from San Francisco, California. In 1996, as founder and frontman of Rainbow Flava, one of the first openly LGBT hip-hop groups, he has performed at clubs, Pride festivals and universities throughout the U.S. and Europe and was an early leader in the establishment of an international network of Homo Hop artists and fans. Together with Shante “Paradigm” Smalls, he co-founded the Peace Out East hip-hop festival in New York City. In 2006 he led viewers on a cross-country journey of Homo Hop in Alex Hinton’s groundbreaking documentary Pick Up The Mic. He looks forward to reuniting with old friends as well as supporting newer artists at the Pink Elephant Festival.
